Thousands of acres of natural and agricultural land are privately owned within and surrounding the Santa Ana Mountains. There is a significant risk that these lands might be developed without regard for their natural or cultural resources. Many properties are already threatened by tract homes, malls, new roads, quarries, reservoirs, land fills, and other forms of urban sprawl. Due to various economic factors, these properties are occasionally for sale. With your help, we can raise funds to acquire Santa Ana Mountain properties and preserve them in perpetuity within the new Grizzly Bear National Monument designation.
